How To Make In-N-Out Animal Style Fries Recipe

Ingredients
- 4 large potatoes, scrubbed and cut into thin fries
- 2 cups of vegetable oil
- 1 large onion, minced
- 1/2 cup of pickles, finely chopped
- 1 cup of American cheese, grated
- 1/4 cup of mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp of ketchup
- 1 tbsp of yellow mustard
- 1/2 tsp of smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste

Preheat the oven to 350°F.

In a large frying pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat and fry the potatoes until crispy and golden brown.

Transfer the fries to a baking sheet.

In the same frying pan, sauté the minced onion until soft and caramelized.

In a small mixing bowl, combine the mayonnaise, ketchup, yellow mustard, and smoked paprika to make the secret sauce.

Top the fries with the sautéed onions, grated American cheese, and secret sauce.
