How To Make Scotch Egg Pie

Ingredients
- 6 hard-boiled eggs
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 lb ground pork
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1 tsp dried sage
- 1 tsp dried parsley
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

Peel the hard-boiled eggs and set aside.

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.

Add the diced onion and minced garlic, and cook until softened.

Add the ground pork, dried thyme, dried sage, dried parsley, black pepper, and paprika. Cook until the pork is browned and cooked through.

Remove from heat and let the mixture cool slightly.

Grease a pie dish with olive oil or cooking spray.

Press half of the ground pork mixture into the bottom of the pie dish to form a crust.

Arrange the hard-boiled eggs on top of the crust.

Top the eggs with the remaining ground pork mixture, pressing down gently.

Sprinkle breadcrumbs over the top of the pie.

Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, until the crust is golden brown and the filling is cooked through.

Allow the pie to cool for a few minutes before serving.
