Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 450°F.

  3. Add in shortening and blend with a pastry cutter until mixture forms pea-sized crumbs.

  4. Stir in buttermilk until dough is moist and sticky.

  5. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about a minute.

  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
